8 Weeks and a few things have happened

It's been a few weeks and the Whetstone's have been at it again. We most definitely have not been sitting around... unless you call sitting on an airplane, in a car on road-trips, and/or at our local Sonic during happy hour sitting around? I mean . . . Truthfully, we've been on the road, again. We did however, need to back track just a bit. For those new to our blog-site we sometimes have to do this due to our (Tim's) problem of not being able to blog as often as we (he) would like! :-) Therefore, let's get to it. . . Danielle and Jeremiah, were blessed by some friends of ours in World Mission and at Village Community Church of the Nazarene with a baby shower. Thank you for your amazing support and wonderful gifts. It is a joy to not only hear that we are loved but at times to truly have such good friends, love on us. Thanks and by the way we are almost out of diapers!? :-) A couple days later we had a second opportunity to share at Village Community Church. We've had the privileged to worship and get involved in various ways with this body when we have been in town and it was an honor to have them invite us to be a part of their One Year Celebration/Serve The World services. Thank you for your hospitality as well as the amazing partnership that is growing even before we are in Singapore. You are a huge blessing and it's been fulfilling to serve along side many of you as well in various capacities with your church. Interlude: My wife just reminded me that I don't need to make this blog a long one. . . Because we know how many of you like the short, get to the point real quick smidgens . . . A week later, we packed our Pathfinder and headed out to Derby, Kansas. It was a great trip and a glorious time making new friends and being introduced to more faces of God's family. Thank you Derby, Kansas Church of the Nazarene and especially to Tim and Joy for being such amazing hosts and allowing us the honor of staying in your home. We not only look forward to how our partnership will grow with your church but more importantly the friendships we know we've made for a lifetime. Peace and steadfastness be with you as you continue to serve your community in God's love. As we close this post we will leave you with a link to some recent family pics of the shower, Nat's and Jeremiah's first visit to the Zoo, and a few others at: http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=62914&l=a7b1e&id=723792783 And a short video of our amazing daughter enjoying some of the last days of summer with her bubbles. We will be back soon as this post does not even cover the past week we spent in Oregon and Washington with family, old friends, and speaking engagements. . . So, enjoy the video and we'll see you soon.
