It's been a while, but . . .

Greetings friends and family! Happy Holiday's to you all. The snow has come to KC and it may be cold and wet outside, but we're warmed by your love and support. These past four weeks have been filled with travel, celebrations, and reunions with friends & family. Oh yeh, and a ton of packing for our departure which is in less than 40 days!

Tim is going to save his "Advent insights" for another email which should be posted by next Monday, but for now, we would like to just give you a quick update while we take the time to thank a few people as well.

Last month we headed back to Iowa. We had a great opportunity to see some of Danielle's friends from P-ville, California who have moved to Iowa... Yeah, we'll see how long that lasts! ;-) Thanks Dunn's for putting up with us, I mean... putting us up, those couple days! We had a blast with you all.

What took us to Iowa however, was not only a quick visit with friends but three speaking engagements as well. We were able to share with our friends whom we first encountered last year at about the same time in Ames, IA. Thanks for having us back and for your amazing support. May His grace and guidance abide with you all at Ames Nazarene as you continue to love Him and others.

We also shared at a couple additional communities; Boone, IA Church of the Nazarene as well as Highland Park Church of the Nazarene. Thank you for having us come and share. It's exciting to meet the many faces of God's amazing family and know that we are all connected in the mysterious power of His Spirit and our prayers. Thank you again for having us and peace be with you all as you continue to serve in His name. We look forward to being able to share with you all again in three years about God's amazing work throughout Asia.

We also had a gloriously thankful Thanksgiving Day with some of our closest friends in Butler, MO. Thanks to the entire Prichard clan! We love you all and that's not just because you filled these little stomachs! :-)

Lastly, we would like to thank Salem Grace, IL Church of the Nazarene. After several attempts of trying to find an opportunity to share, we were graced with a blessed weekend just after Thanksgiving. We had a great time seeing old friends, making new ones, and not only sharing but hearing about works in other parts of the world from other missionaries outside our denomination! We love to see how God is working in so many ways that it not only excites us, but affirms us of how we all are truly called to "go" and be a part of His work wherever He may lead . . .1 house down, 2 states away, 5,000 miles away! Thanks Kevin and Rachel for inviting us to share. We know God has great things in store as we continue to partner together, through prayer and creative opportunities.

Peace be with you all this blessed Advent season. But before I sign off, we must send out a HUGE thanks to all those who were able to come to Natalie's 2 year birthday party at Chick-fil-A. She had a great time, and we know that it was not necessarily from the gifts, but from a group of people who love her. You can see more about this on Danielle's new blog site The Whetpebbles! And don't forget to subscribe to that site either! :-)

Happy Holidays and enjoy this "little ditty" from Jeremiah!
