What happens when you get behind on Thank You's?

Hello. I figured since we are behind on our blogging due to a number of reasons . . . I would just go ahead and dive right into the conversation . . . I mean really, how does one keep starting over and over on blogs? Is this not a on-going conversation anyway? When and/or where does a new chapter really begin?

So, we finished up our east coast tour with gusto! Yes, the time spent with family, friends, and new friends was outstanding. We not only loved being with family (Tim's that is) for the first time in 8 years for the Holiday's but also to see so many others while making new friends along the journey. We were blessed to share at three final churches before we headed back to KC, and then off to California, which is where we are today . . .

And speaking of today (February 5th) we have a new addition to the family. Micah Timothy Jones was born today and weighed in at 6ilbs 8ounces!! Congrats to Christina & Jeff (and of course Isaiah and Ellie!). We love you guys.

Many thanks to Shippensburg, PA Church of the Nazarene. It was truly a blessing to head back home for a few days. We say home, due to the fact that this is where Tim's family lived for over 4 years. Even though I was unable to be there much of the time since I was in college, I have much appreciation and fondness for the many who love both me and my family dearly there. Thanks again for allowing us to come and share yet again, and for your continued support of the many ministries that us Whetstone's have been a part of. We love you all very much.

After two amazing services, D and I packed up the car in PA and headed out for a good 4 1/2 hour drive to Dover, DE. It was that evening that we had another blessed opportunity to share at Dover The Cross Church. We had such a wonderful time sharing (including Natalie... Yeah, she got to run around, talk, and speak up a lot while we tag-teamed that evening-- But I think everyone enjoyed it?!). It was also an added bonus to have met people who knew my grandparents (George and Jane Whetstone) and who hold them in such high regard. I was filled with an incredibly large and warm heart that evening. Thanks again. The Cross you are in our prayers.

During the week . . . we . . .

Visited the "family tree" gravesite . . . It was awesome to be reminded of truly how important and special family is or at least can be if you take advantage of it! In any case, it was a cold brisk morning out at the gravesite but one filled with joy! Thanks Dad and all the "Dill's" who went before us.

And we spent some wonderful time hanging out as a small but big of heart family. Hey, we love the cafe's!

The following weekend we headed up north to New Jersey. Not only did we get to have a great time sharing at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Edison. But we got to hang with a ton of Tim's extended family as well while celebrating cousin Ismai's birthday, eating some incredible Puerto Rican food, hanging out in the mall with more cousins (Raquel and Sammy), visiting greatgrandma Espada, and worshiping together at church. . . just to name a few! Thanks New Beginnings and thank you famiglia Espada!!

For our last week on the east coast we returned home yet once again. Our final days were spent with the Jones' over in Silver Spring, MD . . . some of our old stomping grounds after we returned from Italy . . . while also getting to share on our last Sunday with our family at DC National Church of the Nazarene. Thanks to you all. It truly was a blessing to be with you all again. You are all in our prayers and we are eternally grateful for your continued support of us and the ministries that God has allowed us to be a part of.

Obviously we finished up on the east coast . . . headed back to KC . . . began moving houses (more on that later) . . . and flew out 4 days later for California (more on that later as well)! Until next time, the dialogue is obviously still continuing . . .
