We've Been Around . . . And Natalie's Walking!

It's been an incredible couple weeks with family (like Great Grandma!), friends (even one's from Scotland), a bunch of parties, and a lot of speaking across Delaware and Maryland. We have a lot of people to mention, thank, and praise and we know that we will miss a few, therefore, please forgive us and know that we are extremely grateful to everyone whom we have been blessed to be with over these past couple weeks.
Now, without further a due here's a quick glimpse at some great little chronicles . . .

December 30, 2007 was spent with the beautiful church family at Cambridge (Maryland) Church of the Nazarene. We could not have spent a better last Sunday of '07 than with such a wonderfully hospitable and warm bunch of people. Thank you for your welcoming service and support. We look forward to our future friendship.

New Years Eve & New Years Day were an absolute blast with the Whetstone & Jones clan! Just imagine two pregnant women, three kids 4 and under, a couple of oldER grandparents, and two guys (Tim & Jeff) along for the hilarious ride!! If you can't imagine what could happen, picture this . . . yelling, trying to eat with really nice dish wear, or eating out at a Mexican restaurant with chips and tortilla's flying all over the place, kids screaming and running/crawling around the house, a 1 1/2 year old child walking right into a swinging tire swing so that it could hit her square in the face and causing her to get fully lifted off the ground and thrown back about a foot right on her back . . . and then off course late night movies and board games for the adults . . . So, do you get the picture?! We had a wonderful time!

January 6, 2008. We had the blessed opportunity to speak at Laurel (Delaware) Church of the Nazarene. It was absolute blast sharing both in the service and then over a wonderful lunch. Thank you for your amazing reception and gracious hospitality. God has big things in store for us all and we are glad to be on the journey together.

We then had a beautiful time at the Milford (Delaware) Church of the Nazarene. This was an especially precious time for us since this is the Church my father serves at as Pastor. We are so grateful for your amazing support over the years and now again. It is truly a blessing to be part of your extended family.
Thanks for your help, support, prayers, and for allowing us to be a part of the family as well!

January 9, 2008. Just three days later we again got to be with more family - Jeff, Christina and the kids - and their church family Crossroads Church of the Nazarene in Ellicott City, MD. We again are humbled by yet another warm, friendly, and extremely hospitable group of people. It was a blessing to share with both new and old friends. We know God has big things in store as we continue to live, love, and share life together. Peace and grace be with you all.

After sharing on the 9th we then spent some really great days with my sister, brother-in-law, and the kids in Silver Spring, MD before heading to a couple more speaking engagements. Just imagine one more time with me a Whetstone/Jones outing, but this time to a local photography joint! Yeah, we tried to take a family picture . . . And we honestly succeeded!

That's it for now. . . It's not really all we've done, but this blogs getting a little long, so we will save a couple more speaking engagement thank yous for our next entry . . . Yet, it is true, Natalie IS WALKING! And as any proud father and mother, we took a little video! Enjoy!
